Good night out, good gig.Pity about the drummer, clearly a frustrated bass player. With the original Ryngworm & Ideas in Action all present on the night why no Caths Cafe, Dely ? Bring Back Cathy Dodds real big @i@s man...
Belated thanks to all at the Cellar Bar who made it an enjoyable night indeed, despite the lack of pressies! Good to see the London crowd had a good time too, even Gouch! And a big thanks for Mollie for helping us out over the last few months - good luck with the A levels and we'll have a farewell gig for you in the Summer! Now all we need is a replacement....
Great gig at the Cellar Bar on Sat 12th Feb !! Good venue, buzzing atmosphere and Rev and Mollies birthdays to celebrate too !! Thanks everyone for coming down - think that was definitely one of our best nights !!
Don't forget one and all to get down to the Cellar Bar in Feb to celebrate my half-century! Presents welcome!

Happy Birthday Revie (you definitely need to change your ad now, ha ha!) x
Fab videos - but when's your next gig?
Just to say thanks Guy for your efforts as soundman over the past two years, pity about the girls eh but I'm sure you won't be bereft in that department for too long!
Animal you know that is not true. However, I will admit to having a day off school to see Pele during the miners strike ! Anyway, I understand form the "International Man of Misery" that you were once a "Club Singer" during the 50's
I would point out tht Axeman is so old he can remember seeing Derek Dooley when he had two legs!
Me thinks that you should re-consider your current avertisement for a new singer before you are charged under the mis-represenation act. "We are all in our 40's" is dubious to say the least. Geoff is heading fast for a retirement home and Animal is not far behind with his zimmer frame !
Just in case any of you were wondering why we have been silent for a while (and our webmaster seems not to have said so!) we are on an extended summer holiday but will be back in the autumn ready to go with some new tunes. See you all at The George!
No photos that I am aware of!
Are there no photos of the West Riding gig last Friday?? If the answer's no that's very disappointing!
Simon Cowell ??
Fine gig on Saturday, rain held off and Mollie in fine form doing her Jonny Rotten stuff! But who was the weirdo videoing your young star? Creepy!
I hope so cos I for one don't fancy playing guitar in a thunderstorm!!!
Let's hope the thunderstorms hold off for tonight!
Hi y'all, do you realise The West Riding has been plugging your gig on Friday via Facebook including a link to this page? Best of luck, hope it's a good one, wish I could be there!
WOAH!!! 10,000 hits!!
Thank you Debbie.
I would also like to express my deepest sympathy to Richard & his family. I can't think of anyone who's been so enthusiastic at our gigs than Steve. He loved to dance and smile and I wish all our fans were like him x He was lovely and we'll miss him x RIP Steve xx
Thanks Revie.
Very saddened to hear of the untimely passing away of RIchard's brother Steve last week. I shall always remember the enthusiasm and support he gave to the band, not least of which his dancing! Rest in peace.
It was a big night at The Foxglove in Kirkburton and all the best to Karina and Paul for the future. The band thoroughly enjoyed the night, even me - despite playing out in the rain!
Dear Eileen,
You're more than welcome, it was very nice to meet you both x
Good luck Steph with whatever you decide to do post-band. And very belated thanks to Debbie for the lift back to Dewsbury after the O'Donoghue's gig in January! It was a great night, great to see the band at last........
Yes, top marks to Mollie and Geoff for helping us out and not letting the Duncan down. And dig those bass notes on Born To Be Wild! Awesome!
Good gig on Saturday at The Duncan. Hope everybody enjoyed it. Big thanks to Mollie and Geoff for helping us out.
Just how cool is your drummer! Great sounds guys.
Hi guys. Hope you're all ok. Thanks for the kind messages. Decided it was time to hang up my tambourine before it completely snapped in two!
Might take you up on that guest spot at some time if I can remember any words! Had a spot of bother with that lately - must be getting old!
I wish you all the best with future gigs and I'll hopefully see you soon xx
Won't be able to play 'be my girl 'without the power tambourine intro. What am I gonna do now? Look after yourself Steph. Hope we'll see you at some of the gigs.
Do you know what I'm gonna miss?......Shrimps being mentioned in every song! Good luck Steph and thanks!
End of an era !! I think it's finally sinking in that it's over !! I'll miss you Steph and thanks for being my noo noo for the last 2 years !! Guest appearance sounds good though so hopefully see you at a gig or 2 xx And obviously on ladies nights out, race days, parties etc.etc.etc.
Hey you lot - never heard of the Equal Opps Act? Advertising for females without an excemption eh? So 80's.
Take care Steph and have fun. You will be missed mainly for looking soooooo innocent whilst belting out raunchy lyrics and not least when Rev has to pack up the kit! x
All the best Steph for the future and thanks for the contribution you made to the band - especially those rockin' sounds on Sweet Child and What'sUp! You can always come back to do a guest spot!
Thanks to the boys from "Too Late" for their support & encuragement at the World's End - much appreciated!
Thanks Nick! Glad you enjoyed it!
Cracking performance by the band last night, the place was packed and really rocked to some fab sounds. And Debs...what a mover!
Thanks to everybody at the Rose & Crown on Saturday night. Brilliant!
You read my mind Revster !! I mean, come on, how long do they have to grow ???
Brushes? What are they? Remeber the Lion - play it LOUD! And yes Debbie, before you ask, I am geting a haircut for Saturday!
He'll have to use cool rods or brushes!!!!
Looking forward to the gig at Cleck on Saturday, third time lucky I believe? Though how will Rev keep the noise down so the old bag over the road doesn't kick up a fuss again?
New photos now on!
They will be on soon!
So are there any pictures of the beardless wonder?
A huge THANK YOU to Mark, the Landlord of The Gearge, for lending us his PA amplifier after ours blew up, half way through the 1st set.
Apologies to The Northern for having to cancel at the last minute, due to unforseen circumstances,
Hopefully someone will take a photo (or several) tomorrow night so we can all see the new look?! Can't believe R&R never even noticed..............
Even bigger news. Richard and Revie spent two hours with Mick before they even noticed that the beard had gone. And then it had to be pointed out to them by Debz. Mick will let you guys know in advance when he decides to grow it back.
Mick has SHAVED his beard off! WOW!!! Big news!!
I agree, a great night in Wakey! Shame you had to stop when you did, it was really just getting going! You should hire the blonde lady as a permanent addition, she was dancing like she loved every second of it anyway
FIne night at O'Donoghues - and dig the audience participation on "What's Up"! Spoke to the landlady after, she was very pleased and said it was refreshingly different, with two female singers - and it was distinctly rocking towards the end with those upbeat numbers!
Thanks to O'Donoghues and everybody who was there. Brilliant gig!!
Happy New Year everyone! (Sorry if it's a bit late for your liking XXQ but just been on this site for the first time in ages) Maybe catch you all on 16th!?!
Well done Mollie, you were brilliant and didn't let us down! And a message for Corner of the Yard - I AM the gorilla in the Cadburys advert! Up the Rams!
A big thanks to Molly who stepped in to help us when Steph was unable to do New Years Eve.
Wonder if Cristal will favour us all with a New Year's Message?
Thanks to everybody for a succesful Xmas gig on the 19th, especially The Irish Nash for stepping in at the last minute.
Quite impressive...shame about the drummer. Wonder what that gorilla from the Dairy Milk adverts is doing these days?
Up the Giants!
I have to say that Mollies' vocal on "Mercy" was absolutely superb! A natural I think!
5,000 hits in one year - that works out about 13 per day - so is it the girls looking in 6 times each day and one genuine outsider? Ha!
Yes we are holding an Xmas party. We will advise when everythinsorted.
I hear a rumour that there's gpoing to be a buzz room xmas party at the re-opened Station Bar in Dews on the 19th Dec, sounds good - Cristal, can you be there so we can all see who you are? RIchard in particular is dying to know (as am I!)
Moaning drummers!!!!........pics now on!
Where are the pix from the Cricketer's gig? I wan to see me flying the flag for DRLFC! Or is it because there are none of Richard, for a change?
You don't need to be old to appreciate genius! (and I would guess that I'm younger than you!)
Jethro Tull? How old are you?
I didn't realise I had to log in........that comment about Revie's photo was from me! Do you do any JT songs?!?
Ha ha, just noticed your "setting up" photos. Is that Revie doing his Ian Anderson impersonation in photo 2?!?!
Another great gig guys, and recovered well after a rusty start. Debbie looked fabulous!
Note to soundman - it is the blokes behind the instruments who are supposed to get the girl, not the bloke behind the mixer!
Wow, check out the babe in Turquoise! is she married?
Thanks to everyone at The Old Pack Horse and The Brewers Pride. BRILLIANT!!!
Fine performance over 2 days - and dig that crazy solo by Richard on Hi-Ho Silver - how high could he go?
Great set guys at the Brewers.Every song a winner, and you all enjoyed yourselves, you could tell.
Looking forward to seeing you performing again, specialy Debz, what a little song bird ; )
Wow guys, what a crazy weekend we had. We had an amazing response !! If all sets could be 2nd sets we'd be flying high xx
Fine performance by a great band at the festival yesterday - loads of energy! See you in November I hope!
The Lion in Cas is a top venue to play. Thank you for making us all welcome. And next time we will be louder!!!
Quality band, but not loud enough!
Thanks to everybody at The Crown for a very good night.
It's holiday time...next gig 15th August
Ouch! I bet that is a pain in the arse for your drummer! Is that's why there is a big gap before your next gig, or are you all on holiday? Ciao!
I'm sure Cristal is a girl and she's naffed off with Richard for saying she may be a bloke!
Whatever happened to the guitar on All The Young Dudes? Will we ever play it again? Bit weird playing in a tent at a posh garden party!
What ever happened to Crystal?
IR28 wot a nice arse !!!
Hi Guys
Sounds Good, next time the CBR'ers are in town, we will look you up.
Live Fast, Die Young
Jim
I disagree, there's at least 2 with us all on...LOL!
You must be the only band in the world that does not have a picture of all five of you in one frame! Is this your gimmick?
Good energy boys & girls...once the sound was sorted! Hope to catch you at the WR.
For a Yorkie band you were pretty good on Saturday! Cool energy and fine rock chick dancing!
Looking forward to the Bradford gig boys & girls - I hear on the grapevine there's a few new covers. I take it the drummer's leg has recovered but can Debs really tell us the truth as to what happened?
Hey Xin Xin Qin, so much for looking forward to the gig on 24th - it seems to have been cancelled, bummer!
Over 6 weeks since your last gig guys - far too long! Here's to a good 'un on the 24th.
Hi Gouch! How you doing? I've no hair cos Im old!!!!
Is that really Richard on guitar? The bloke I remember from the Ryngworm days used to have hair!
Thanks Simon. The sound was very good...so I've been told.
